<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning indoor unit which prevents the accumulation of dust in an opening/closing member of a suction port. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioning indoor unit, a second suction port 22 is located in a front portion and/or upper portion of a body casing. The second suction port 22 is opened and closed by a slide opening/closing plate 322. A control portion keeps the second suction port 22 open during shutdown while air conditioning is not carried out. Since dust accumulates in a portion facing the ceiling surface of the second suction port 22 during shutdown, the slide opening/closing plate 322 is left open even during the shutdown so as to collect dust on a filter 25, thereby suppressing the fall of the dust. Moreover, since the slide opening/closing plate 322 is housed in the lower side than the top face of the body casing, it is possible to prevent the dust from falling to a floor owing to a vibration during a move in the closing direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
