SIZING AGENT FOR CARBON FIBER, CARBON FIBER BUNDLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CARBON FIBER BUNDLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent for carbon fibers that is excellent in process stability during sizing treatment for carbon fibers and is used for a composite material of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene and a carbon fiber.

SOLUTION: The sizing agent for carbon fibers contains a copolymerized polyolefin and a glycol ether based compound. The glycol ether based compound has a solubility in water at 20°C of 0-100 g, and the content of the glycol ether based compound is 15-2000 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the copolymerized polyolefin solids.
