<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data communication from being discontinued even when a radar is detected on a transmission channel that requires radar detection, during a radio communication on the transmission channel. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus as a relay station includes first and second radio transmission/receiving sections. The radio transmission/receiving sections respectively include a transmission/receiving sections to perform primary data communication; and a receiving section to acquire information on a transmission channel different from a transmission channel for performing data communication of the transmission/receiving sections.
