摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear machining device that suitably forms micro recesses on tooth flanks of a gear. <P>SOLUTION: A gear machining device 1 machines a tooth flank 2a of a machined gear 2 by rotating the machined gear 2 meshed with a machining gear 3, including a machining film 4 having a thin film shape provided with micro particles 5 adhered on one side surface 4a of the film. During the rotation of the machined gear 2, the machining film 4 is inserted between tooth flanks of the machined gear 2 and the machining gear 3 engaged with each other so that one surface 4a with the micro particles 5 adhered thereon is in contact with the tooth flank 2a of the machined gear 2, thereby forming micro recesses 7 corresponding to the micro particles 5 on the tooth flank 2a of the machined gear 2.
