<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the supporting stiffness of a stepping member when the stepping member is deployed without remarkably impairing a working efficiency for putting a luggage into and out of a vehicle through an opening portion formed at the rear of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle includes the opening portion 4 formed at the rear of the vehicle and a door 5 which opens and closes the opening portion 4. The vehicle further includes the stepping member 11 one end of which is pivotally supported so as to be turnable between a storage position at which the stepping member is stored in a cabin and an deployed position where the other end of the stepping member projects from the opening portion to the outside for use as a passenger stepping. The lower edge of the opening portion 4 includes a projecting portion 41 which projects rearward in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in a part of the area in the lateral direction of the vehicle and supports the stepping member 11 from the underside when the stepping member 11 is set at the deployed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
