PURPOSE: A contents detail controlling method and a supporting portable terminal are provided to conveniently search a specific area of contents and easily use a function which detail establishment is necessary. CONSTITUTION: A displaying unit(141) outputs a main slider including a sliding path of constant length for constant area designation of contents and a sub slider expanding a part of the sliding path of the main slider. An inputting unit(120) and/or a touch panel(143) generates a signal which selectively outputs the sub slider to a displaying panel. A controlling unit(160) outputs the sub slider according to the signal generation. When an input signal is not existed for predetermined time or the input signal is generated for removing the sub slider, the controlling unit removes the sub slider in the displaying panel.
