<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of precisely estimating the index of crystallization of cellulose in powder after processing a cellulose containing material by a container driving medium milling device using a non-spherical medium. <P>SOLUTION: Dissipation energy per unit time caused by all collision arising within the milling device is computed by simulating the motion of the non-spherical medium in the container driving medium milling device by a discrete element method using a viscoelasticity dynamical model. Next, the index of crystallization of cellulose in the powder being obtained by processing the cellulose containing material is measured in advance, and the correlation between the index of crystallization and the input dissipation energy being computed from the dissipation energy per unit time and processing conditions is obtained. The index of crystallization of the cellulose in the powder in processing of the cellulose containing material is estimated, by giving the predetermined input dissipation energy to the milling device on the basis of the correlation between the index of crystallization and the input dissipation energy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
