<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of highly accurately detecting a touch position even if input is performed by an object smaller than a fingertip. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel of the present invention includes, on a surface having a fixed distance from a touch input face into which a touch operation is performed: a first electrode group formed of multiple first electrodes 31A parallel to each other; and a second electrode group formed of multiple second electrodes 32A provided perpendicularly to the first electrodes 31A.
