摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of highly accurately detecting a battery in which an internal short-circuit occurred. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: an electrode body formation step of forming an electrode body having a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a self-discharge step of self-discharging the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the electrode body and a battery case housing the electrode body by leaving the battery unattended for a prescribed period. In the electrode body formation step (step S1), there is formed an electrode body whose capacity ratio (B/A) of a capacity A of the positive electrode to a capacity B of the negative electrode is less than or equal to 1.4.
