<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery pack from being exchanged with the one out of a guarantee range in an electric automobile. <P>SOLUTION: When a battery pack 12 is purchased at a dealer shop 30 and loaded on an electric automobile 10, a new battery pack ID is written as battery pack IDs 48 and 49 in nonvolatile memories of an MG-ECU 35 and a battery ECU 21. The battery pack ID is generated with a production number of the electric automobile 10, a production number of the battery pack 12 and an ID of the dealer shop 30 as generation factors. When activating the electric automobile 10 or when charging the battery pack 12, prior to that, an immobilization unit 37 reads and collates the battery pack IDs 48 and 49, permits activation of the electric automobile 10 and charging start of the battery pack 12 when it is determined that both match, and inhibits them when both do not match. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
