<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine that can suppress accidental fire of the internal combustion engine due to excessive increase of turbulence intensity by estimating the turbulence intensity of an air-fuel mixture in a combustion chamber. <P>SOLUTION: A drive control system 1 includes: a turbulence intensity estimation means to estimate the turbulence intensity in a combustion chamber based on a discharge time of an ignition plug 29 of an engine 100; a determination means to determine whether a combustion condition of the engine 100 is in a stable region based on the estimation result of the turbulence intensity estimation means; and a turbulence intensity lowering means to lower the turbulence intensity in the combustion chamber based on the determination result of the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
