<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning/holding device which precisely holds a fuel tank half of a motorcycle. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning/holding device 10 includes: a first tool 20 which has an engagement part 55 to be engaged with a filler opening 54 of a tank upper half 31, with the filler opening 54 positioned below, and determines a three-dimensional position of the filler opening 54 by causing the filler opening 54 to be engaged with the engagement part 55; and a second tool 30 which has a clamp mechanism 69 that enters a radial groove of the engagement part 55 and expands to press the filler opening 54 and holds the tank upper half 31 having been positioned. In the case with a conventional positioning/holding device, when a filler opening is held without causing the filler opening to be engaged with the engagement part, the clamp mechanism hits the filler opening to move the tank upper half, which causes the center of the filler opening to be deviated from the center of the clamp mechanism, preventing accurate holding of the tank upper half. In the present invention, since the filler opening 54 is positioned by the engagement part 55 before causing the clamp mechanism 69 to hold the filler opening 54, the tank upper half 31 can be accurately held. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
