<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grill device which has a high cleaning performance and is capable of efficiently performing cooking and also performing accurate temperature controlled cooking. <P>SOLUTION: An upper heater 9 is disposed above a cooking container upper surface 16 of a cooking container 11 disposed inside the grill device 6 and a lower heater 10 is disposed below a cooking container bottom surface 17, respectively, and a grill tray 18 mounted on the cooking container bottom surface 17 forms grill tray crest parts 19 for mounting a cooked object 14 and grill tray dent parts 20 for receiving oil or the like coming out from the cooked object 14. At the time, the cooking container bottom surface 17 is constituted with a light transmissive and highly heat resistant material, and an infrared sensor 21 is arranged below the cooking container bottom surface 17.
