PURPOSE: A rain and snow gauge is provided to reduce the error of measurement by reducing the movement of angle of a tipping bucket. CONSTITUTION: A rain and snow gauge includes a base, a cylindrical cover, a collecting cup, a tipping bucket(120), a fixing part, and a sensor part. The tipping bucket is installed at the lower part of the collecting cup and moves according to the amount of introduced rainwater. The sensor part detects the movement of the tipping bucket. The collecting cup includes a funnel part, a fastening part, a nozzle, and a nozzle part. The tipping bucket includes a main body(121), a partition(122), a first receiving part(123), a second receiving part(124), supporting parts(125, 126), and hinge holes(125a). The partition is formed at the center of the main body. The receiving parts are formed at both sides of the main body based on the partition. The lower sides of the receiving parts are curved. The supporting parts are formed at both sides of the center parts of the supporting parts. The rotary shaft of the hinge holes is combined on the supporting parts.
