<p>The invention also relates to a drying method. The corresponding facility for drying water-filled material, such as waste, includes: a drying module (1) comprising an inner chamber (2) and an outer casing (3) for heating a sweep gas circuit (7); a heating fluid circuit (6) connected to the outer casing (3); a heat pump circuit (10) including a refrigerant evaporator (15) for capturing calories of sweep gas that come from the drying module (1) and condensing the water vapor contained in the sweep gas; a first and second condenser (16, 17) of refrigerant in series so as to release calories of sweep gas leaving the evaporator (15) and so as to release calories of heating fluid (6); and a sweep gas cooling tower (19) for cooling the sweep gas between the outlet of the inner chamber (2) of the drying module (1) and the evaporator (15) and condensing the water vapor contained in the sweep gas. The amount of heat absorbed in the cooling tower is adjusted so as to remove the equivalent of the power absorbed by the compressor of the heat pump.</p> |
