<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of having a high reliability, being formed without using a metal mask, and suppressing voltage drop caused by resistance of an upper electrode layer. <P>SOLUTION: An EL film is deposited from above a conductive connection electrode layer having an unevenness shape. The EL film does not completely coat the connection electrode layer surface, and a region where the connection electrode layer surface is exposed is formed. Next, a conductive film to be an upper electrode layer of an EL element is deposited from above the EL film to form a region where the conductive film contacts with the connection electrode layer. Further, a structure is provided at a position on an opposed substrate, the position overlapping with the connection electrode layer. The substrates are adhered to each other so that the structure physically contacts onto the upper electrode layer on the connection electrode layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
