<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber that is prevented from fluffing or yarn breakages due to abrasion, and capable of providing excellent composite physical properties when made into a fiber-reinforced composite material. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon fiber bundle has a partial structure represented by the following formula (a) or (b), and a sizing agent containing 20-90 wt.% of an epoxy resin having a molecular weight of 200-1,000 is attached thereto. Regarding an attached amount of the sizing agent measured by a pyrolysis method (A) (wt.%) and an attached amount of the sizing agent measured by Soxhlet extraction (B) (wt.%), the attached amount (A) is 0.5-5.0 wt.% and the value (A-B) is 0.10-0.50 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
