<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening holding device for cassette storage bags capable of opening a cassette storage bag with dead weight, allowing a user to easily and surely insert a cassette in a cassette storage bag by one hand, and preventing adhesion of bacteria to the cassette in carrying. <P>SOLUTION: A turning structure is manually operated to downward turn about a horizontal turning shaft, each locking rod to which a cassette storage bag is locked, to a cassette bag stuffing position, so that a bag pushing member is downward slid due to the dead weight to push the upper end of each cassette storage bag to a stopper part from the back and holds the cassette storage bag in an inclined state with the bag opening side facing downward. Then, the bag opening is opened by the weight of a front-side sheet due to the dead weight and, in that state, a user inserts a cassette in the bag opening by means of a cassette insertion guide member, so as to easily and surely store the cassette in the cassette storage bag by one hand.
