<p>Provided are a three-dimensional image processing apparatus and a three-dimensional image processing method, wherein a three-dimensional image having special effects applied thereto can be viewed naturally without feeling any strangeness, and the three-dimensional image can be generated without increasing processing time or required memory. Raw data (#201L, #201R) are converted (#203L, #203R) to gradation that supports special effects, and three-dimensional image data is generated (#211, #221) by executing at least either a cutting out of the gradation-converted image data as stereoscopic vision data, or geometrical conversion thereto. Then, processing for attaining special effects, which are special effects that make the three-dimensional image similar to an image formed optically, or special effects that make the three-dimensional image similar to an image formed from a picture film or in the process of developing and printing the picture film, is implemented (#223) onto the three-dimensional image data, and a three-dimensional special-effects image is generated (#225).</p> |
