<p>Disclosed is a method for remotely controlling a set top box (STB), comprising: making a request, in accordance with an STB IP address, to connect to the corresponding STB; establishing a connection with said STB; obtaining STB information sent back by the STB, and searching for a matching remote control model in accordance with the STB information; obtaining a screen data image sent back by the STB, and displaying the screen data image as well as the corresponding virtual remote control model generated in accordance with the matching remote control model; receiving a clicked push-button command from the virtual remote control, and searching for the logical push-button name corresponding to the push-button command; converting, according to the STB information, the logical push-button name into a physical push-button command, then transmitting same to the STB; and receiving the screen data image sent back by the STB after processing of said image in accordance with the physical push-button command so as to achieve remote control. A system for remotely controlling an STB and a service processing server are also provided.</p> |
