<p>A method for performing an economic shopping activity, comprising: (a) a receiving two or more data files, each of which represent a list of purchased items purchased from a specific merchant, wherein at least part of said lists were purchased from different merchants; (b) uploading each of said received data files to a web server; (c) analyzing the content of each of said uploaded data files for obtaining information related to each purchased item in each of said lists; (d) comparing the obtained information for one or more items across at least a part of said analyzed data files, to thereby find the lowest price of each specific item among all of said lists; (e) generating the cheapest price list at least for part of the items in said lists; (f) transmitting, over said data network, to one or more pre-selected on-line retailers in said generated cheapest lists.</p> |
