<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run-flat tire that improves run-flat durability performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the run-flat tire, a cord which is constituted by treating polyester filaments with an adhesive composition after twisting them together is used for a carcass ply. The polyester filaments are formed of polyester fibesr which include polyester having ethylene terephthalate as main repeating units and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.85 or higher, in which the amount of terminated carboxy groups in the fiber is 20 eq/ton or larger, in which the long period according to small-angle X-ray diffraction is in a range of 9-12 nm, and in which a surface treatment agent comprising an epoxy group adheres to a fiber surface. A composition which includes resorcin, formaldehyde, a rubber latex, an emulsion-polymerized blocked isocyanate compound and ammonia and in which the content of the emulsion-polymerized blocked isocyanate compound is in a range of 15-45 mass% is used as the adhesive composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
