摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine misfire of an internal combustion engine of a plurality of cylinders according to a road surface state. <P>SOLUTION: A misfire determination device determines whether the rotational fluctuation &Delta;Ne of the engine speed Ne and the fluctuation &Delta;&theta; of a torsion angle &theta; of a damper 28 are tuned when the difference of target rotation speed Ne* of an engine 22 and engine speed Ne is more than the threshold value Nref (S160), determines when the rotational fluctuation &Delta;Ne is tuned to the torsion angle fluctuation &Delta;&theta;, that the difference of the target rotation speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne becomes a threshold value Nref or more by misfire of either cylinder of the engine 22 (S170), and determines when the rotational fluctuation &Delta;Ne is not tuned to the torsion angle fluctuation &Delta;&theta;, that the difference of the target rotation speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne becomes the threshold value Nref or more by disturbance from the road surface (S180).
