<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor that is adapted to an environment where a small capacity and a high rotation speed are commonly used, by setting a contact point forming a compression space in a vortical wall part in a scroll member at the outer peripheral side to reduce a contact pressure at the inner peripheral side, prevents surface pressure increase at the contact point and a galling or the like at the contact part, and has an improved volumetric efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A vortical movable wall 14 of at least one scroll member 10 is divided at a point D into an outer peripheral side which winds about one round from the end point C of an involute curve toward the start point of the involute curve, and an inner peripheral side which is located between the point D and the start point of the involute curve, wherein the inner peripheral side has a thinner wall thickness than the outer peripheral side. By making the inner peripheral side thinner than the outer peripheral side to set the wall contact point D as the contact part at the outer peripheral side, the contact pressure at the inner peripheral side is reduced and sealing is ensured at the outer peripheral side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
