MONITORING SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of achieving priority control in consideration of a band restriction of a broad band.

SOLUTION: In the monitoring system performing remote monitoring of a monitoring target from a management center by using a network interconnection device for performing interconnection between a local network to which a plurality of communication terminals are connected and a wide area network to which the management center is connected, the network interconnection device performs alarm detection and data statistical processing appropriate for an alarm status on the basis of data collected from the plurality of communication terminals. Data to be transmitted to the management center is selected according to the alarm status, communication status of the local network, and communication status of the wide area network so that network capacity is sufficiently used in the monitoring system and data communication necessary for alarm determination processing is ensured even in a situation of network capacity shortage and variation.
