<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel material temperature estimation method capable of estimating a temperature of a steel material while reducing cost and time. <P>SOLUTION: The steel material temperature estimation method estimates the temperature of the steel material when the steel material is heated. The steel material temperature estimation method estimates a change with the lapse of time in the temperatures of the steel material by repeating a first procedure (step S4) for calculating a heat transmission coefficient α based on the temperature T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>of the steel material in accordance with the following formula (1) using constants α<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, α<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, T<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, and T<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, a second procedure (steps S5, S6) for calculating the temperature variation of the steel material after the lapse of predetermined time by using the calculated heat transmission coefficient α, and a third procedure (step S7) for determining the sum of the temperature T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>of the steel material and the temperature variation of the steel material as the succeeding temperature T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>of the steel material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
