PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition giving a cured product that excels in heat resistance by a low linear expansion, and is excellent in water resistance.

SOLUTION: The curable resin composition includes: an alicyclic olefin polymer having at least one functional group chosen from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, a carboxylic acid anhydride group, and a hydroxyphenyl group (A); an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups condensed with a ring (B); and a thermal acid generator (C).
