<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for clarifying tap water in which trihalomethane, organic compounds that are a cause of a mold odor, and the like in the tap water are decomposed and removed, the propagation of bacteria is prevented by means of chlorine in the treated tap water, and the maintenance is easy. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for clarifying tap water includes a filter part which filtrates the tap water with a microfilter, and a photocatalytic treatment part which treats the filtrated water filtrated by the filter. The photocatalytic treatment part includes a flowage vessel which flows the filtrated water in one direction, a photocatalytic filter, and a source to emit ultraviolet rays wherein it is configured to be irradiated with the ultraviolet rays when the filtrated water passes through the photocatalytic filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
