COATING COMPOSITION, SOLID PREPARATION COATED WITH THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SOLID PREPARATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for a delayed-release preparation with no change with time, quickly releasing a medicament in the stomach after the period of time (lag time) of releasing no medicament from the solid preparation, and to provide such a solid preparation or the like coated with the composition.

SOLUTION: The coating composition is provided, comprising: a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether and a cellulosic enteric base; wherein the content mass ratio of the nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether to the cellulosic enteric base is (95:5) to (65:35). A solid preparation comprising: a medicament-containing core; and this composition coating the core, and quickly eluting the medicament in the stomach after the lag time is also provided.
