RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method enabling stable communication even if the topology of a multi-hop network abruptly changes.

SOLUTION: A radio communication device performs the steps of: acquiring identifier information of a base station to be connected; acquiring identifier information indicative of a source radio station of a received radio packet and a destination radio station thereof; determining whether any of the identifier information coincides with the identifier information of the base station or the identifier indicative of the device itself; determining whether retransmission relay is to be executed or completed in accordance with either one of a completion condition explicitly described in the radio packet and/or a completion condition of the retransmission relay determined on a system; and transmitting, if it is determined that one of the identifier information, indicative of the source radio station or the destination radio station, coincides with the identifier information of the base station and that the retransmission relay is to be executed, either of the received packet and a reconfigured packet that is obtained by modifying information described in a predetermined field in accordance with a predetermined condition.
