<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost reduction in a scroll type compressor by using a tip seal in common in the compressors of different capacities, while surely preventing a compressed refrigerant from leaking by optimizing a position to divide a tip seal. <P>SOLUTION: The tip seal 30 is divided into a plurality of parts. The end 31 of the tip seal 30 to be attached to a seal groove 20 at the winding start side of vortical walls 13, 14 of a scroll member 10 is extended to meet a wall contact point 16 of the scroll member 10 immediately after three-chamber mixing caused by communication of three compression chambers 40, 42 at least in the compression stroke, on an involute curve (L) directing an involute angle of 360° from the location of the winding start side of the wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
