<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and remotely operate a vehicle while avoiding contact between the vehicle and an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle remote operation method includes: when moving a vehicle 30, first calculating a locus between a current location of the vehicle and a target position (step S204); then moving the vehicle from a parking space PS to the target position along the calculated locus (steps S208 and S210); when moving the vehicle, detecting an obstacle located on the locus of the vehicle from an image specified by image information outputted from an imaging device 21 (step S207); and then stopping moving the vehicle when detecting the obstacle on the locus of the vehicle (step S209). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
