<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance implementation simplicity and versatility, to avoid failure that the entire device gets larger in size, to make conveyance property (conveyance stability) and reliability higher, and to contrive simplification of structure, reduction in the number of parts, and reduction in cost on implementation. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet folding device includes: a movable guide plate 5p arranged to be displaced in the vicinity of either roller 2p of a pair of rollers 2p and 2m; a plate moving part 5d moving the movable guide plate 5p to a first position Xs where a sheet P in the conveyance path 3 is prevented from coming into contact with the circumferential surface of the roller 2p or a second position Xr where it is permitted to come into contact with the circumferential surface of the roller 2p; and a control means controlling the plate moving part 5d to switch the movable guide plate 5p to the first position Xs side when the sheet P is conveyed into the conveyance path 3, and switches the movable guide plate 5p to the second position Xr side when the sheet P advances between the pair of rollers 2p and 2m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
