<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wax for resin additive capable of demonstrating the fluidity and the releasing property effect without impairing the characteristics such as low volatility, transparency, and durability to be requested for a high-functional resin. <P>SOLUTION: The wax is blended as a modifier of the resin, and collected from sunflower seeds. The content of the straight chain monoester is ≥95%, and the content of the straight chain monoester of the carbon number of ≥48 is ≥40%.
