<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and precisely specify a pressure-regulating valve which cannot normally supply hydraulic pressure to a corresponding hydraulic pressure type frictional engagement element. <P>SOLUTION: In a transmission, when a gear ratio corresponding to any gear position while the formation of the any gear position is instructed cannot be obtained, a forcible change of the gear position is instructed at an interval of time thereafter (steps S110, S220). Then, every time the forcible change of the gear position is instructed, whether the gear ratio corresponding to the instructed gear position is provided or not is determined (steps S130, S240) and the pressure-regulating valve which cannot normally supply hydraulic pressure is specified by using fundamentally continuous determination results of two times (steps S150 to S170, S260 to S280) twice or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
