The present invention relates to the field of network communications and disclosed in particular is a time synchronization method, including: a first node sending a first time message with a first operating wavelength at a first time, and a second node receiving the first time message at a second time; the first node sending a second time message with a second operating wavelength at a third time, and the second node receiving the second time message at a fourth time; and calculating the absolute time deviation between the second node and the first node according to the first time, the second time, the third time, the fourth time, and the first signal transmission rate corresponding to the first operating wavelength and the second signal transmission rate corresponding to the second operating wavelength, and synchronizing the local time of the second node and the first node.
