<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit excessive increase of an in-cylinder temperature and a temperature of a direct injector associated with increase abnormality of a feed pressure under the condition that separate injection is carried out, and to inhibit the occurrence of knocking caused by such an excessive increase and production of deposits around a nozzle hole of the direct injector. <P>SOLUTION: When the increase abnormality of the feed pressure is detected to occur under the condition that the separate injection is carried out between a port injection injector 6 and the direct injector 7, performance of an ignition-timing retard control causes an ignition timing of an engine 1 to be retard only by an amount of retard. As a result, a combustion temperature of mixture in a combustion chamber 3 is decreased. The decrease of the combustion temperature of mixture in a combustion chamber 3 allows the excessive increase of the in-cylinder temperature and the temperature of the direct injector 7 associated with the increase abnormality of the feed pressure under the condition that the separate injection is carried out to be inhibited and allows the occurrence of knocking caused by such an excessive increase and the production of deposits around the nozzle hole of the direct injector 7 to be inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
