PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel application of plum vinegar.

SOLUTION: A skin whitening cosmetic and an anti-glycation cosmetic contain the plum vinegar. Also, a whitening agent, an anti-glycation agent, a demelanizing agent, a Maillard reaction inhibitor, and a decomposition accelerator of a Maillard reaction product contain the plum vinegar as an active constituent.
