METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLARIZING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate which hardly causes an excessive reverse curl and has excellent optical characteristics or lamination strength.

SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate by laminating an acrylic resin film 25 on one surface of a polarizing film 21 and laminating a transparent resin film 23 on the other surface of the polarizing film 21, the method comprising: (A) a conveying step for conveying a raw material film so that the polarizing film 21 is sandwiched by the acrylic resin film 25 and the transparent resin film 23; (B) a laminating step for performing lamination while sandwiching a film laminate by a first laminating roll 15 which rotates in contact with the outside of the acrylic resin film 25 and a second laminating roll 16 which rotates in contact with the outside of the transparent resin film 23; and (C) a curing step for curing an adhesive. The laminating step (B) laminates the polarizing film 21 in a state of applying tension to both films so that the contraction stress in a conveyance direction on the side of the acrylic resin film 25 is larger than the contraction stress in the conveyance direction on the side of the transparent resin film 23.
