<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of emitting lights with a small difference of light intensities of wavelengths, and improving a color rendering property in a case of white light. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device comprises an LED element, and fluorescent layers formed on the LED element. The fluorescent layers are separately formed in two or more regions. One fluorescent layer has a first fluorescent substance and a second fluorescent substance excited by light from the LED element. In a spectrum of light emitted from one fluorescent layer, local peaks are formed at wavelengths almost identical to a peak wavelength of the first fluorescent substance and a peak wavelength of the second fluorescent substance, respectively. The other fluorescent layer has the first fluorescent substance, and a third fluorescent substance excited by a partial wavelength region of the light from the first fluorescent substance, and the third fluorescent substance absorbs the light from the first fluorescent substance and is excited. Therefore, in a spectrum of the light emitted from the other fluorescent layer, a local peak is formed at a wavelength different from the peak wavelength of the first fluorescent substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
