<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which is adapted to communication with a data processor receiving PDL data and determines an operation mode capable of normally performing processing for a response to the data processor, in PDL data interpretation processing. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor which enables two-way communication with the data processor, a job controller 200-5 determines whether the received PDL data has inquiry information for which the image processor should respond to the data processor (S10-2). Here, when determining that the received PDL data has the inquiry information, the job controller 200-5 switches an operation mode set at a PDL data interpretation part 200-2 for interpreting the PDL data from a multi mode to a single mode (S10-10). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
