<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor that achieves high printing durability at lithographic printing, and excellent developability in an exposure unit. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate precursor of an infrared photosensitive positive type includes a recording layer having a lower layer and an upper layer in this order above a supporter having a hydrophilic surface.
