<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a deformed plenum chamber of a regeneration tower for a fluidized catalytic cracker. <P>SOLUTION: A wear resistant coating layer 5 is removed from an internal wall surface 4 of the plenum chamber 2. A deformed part 6 of the plenum chamber 2 is then corrected. A plurality of reinforcing ribs 12A to 13H are welded onto the internal wall surface 4 of the plenum chamber 2. Alternatively, a plurality of reinforcing ribs 125A to 127H are welded onto an external wall surface 121 of the plenum chamber. When the plurality of reinforcing ribs are then welded onto the internal wall surface of the plenum chamber, the internal wall surface 4 of the plenum chamber 2 is coated with a new wear resistant coating layer including the plurality of reinforcing ribs 12A to 13H. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
