<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a support arm of a tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece from being broken by preventing a portion of the support arm from colliding with an angulated edge portion of a clearance groove when an impact is given to a piezoelectric device. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric device 1 comprises: a tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece 3; and a package including a lid body 21, a storage recess 22 accommodating the tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece 3 and sealed with the lid body 21, a pair of support bases 23 provided on a bottom surface of the storage recess 22 in order to fix the tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece 3 by a support arm 33 on a side opposite to a base part 31, and a clearance groove 24 formed on the bottom surface in order to prevent the tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece 3 fixed to the support bases 23 from colliding with the bottom surface of the storage recess 22. An edge portion 241 of the clearance groove 24 is formed to be present on a lower side of the base part 31 such that a portion of the base part 31 may collide instead of the portion of the support arm 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
