BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological treatment apparatus which has excellent treatment accuracy by preventing an impurity from being mixed and excellent treatment efficiency by eliminating diffusion control of gas.

SOLUTION: The biological treatment apparatus includes: a biological treatment part 21 formed of a conductive carrier carrying a microorganism for biologically treating an object to be treated by contacting the object to be treated and by using metabolic reaction of the microorganisms; and a gas electrode 31 for electrolyzing supplied gas to generate electric potential. The biological treatment part 21 and the gas electrode 31 are electrically connected and the metabolic reaction of the microorganism is controlled by applying the electric potential generated by the electrolysis of the gas supplied to the gas electrode 31 to the biological treatment part 21.
