The present invention relates to a metal cover (1) for a container body, in particular for a container of the metal can type, wherein said cover (1) includes a central portion (4) forming a central blocking panel, delimited by a breakage-priming line (3) and provided with a grasping member (6) for exerting a pulling force on said central panel (4) in order to break said breakage-priming line (3) along a general pulling line (9) defined on said central panel (4) between the proximal (3c) and distal (3b2) areas. The central panel (4) of the invention further comprises one or more inner moldings (10) formed by molding sections (10a, 10b), arrangeed to reinforce the resistance thereof to folding at least along lines that are transverse to the general pulling line (9), wherein at least two of the inner molding segments (10b) are each provided on one side of the general pulling line (9) and extend so as to diverge from the general pulling line (9) as well as from each other in order to generate a so-called "saddle" or "tile" effect. |
