The present invention relates to a cosmetic process for treating keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising a step in which a non-detergent cosmetic composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium,an amount of greater than or equal to 1% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of one or more water-soluble inorganic calcium salts, is applied to the said keratin fibres, and a step of rinsing the said keratin fibres.
