ATOMIZER, AND STERILIZING SUBSTANCE GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomizer capable of stably atomizing a liquid.

SOLUTION: The atomizer includes: a first reservoir part with a vibration plate attached to the bottom surface for storing a liquid; a second reservoir part for storing propagation water to propagate ultrasonic vibration; and an ultrasonic vibrator set on the bottom surface of the second reservoir part for applying ultrasonic vibration to the propagation water. The level of the propagation water when the ultrasonic vibration is not applied to the propagation water is set at the level of the water when a water pillar generated by the ultrasonic vibration applied to the propagation water is brought into contact with the vibration plate and the liquid is atomized.
