<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe which is used in an optical tomography apparatus or the like for generating optical tomographic images by optical coherence tomography (OCT: Optical Coherence Tomography) measurement, and in which a sidewall surface of a probe outer cylinder (sheath) can be easily pressed to a measurement object and which is free from reduction in rotational force and rotation irregularities of a light emission means emitting measurement light. <P>SOLUTION: A probe insertion part 70 of an OCT probe device 10 includes a first curve part 200 and a second curve part 202 curved in opposite directions. In the probe insertion part 70, an optical fiber for guiding measurement light and a flexible shaft covering it are inserted inside a cylindrical sheath 74, and recesses and projections are formed along a longitudinal axial direction on an inner wall surface of the sheath 74 in the first curve part 200 and the second curve part 202 in order to reduce frictions with the flexible shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
