<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grater which moves a grating board with blades in multiple holes. <P>SOLUTION: A food 1 is sliced in an oblique semi-cylinder. The food is pushed with one hand while the grater 5 is fixed. With the other hand, the grating board 4 having blades in the multiple holes provided orthogonally to the food 1 is slid back and fort along a rail groove, and moved. Accordingly, the food 1 is grated with the blades in the multiple holes or the projected grater 4, and fallen into a dish underneath.
